Kimura Foundry America grows further through a partnership with VIP Tooling

Kimura Foundry America, Inc. has agreed with VIP Tooling (Shelbyville, Indiana) to strengthen the partnership between the companies to support the growing market requirements for shorter delivery times of machined casting parts.

Kimura Foundry America opened in the United States in late 2018 using innovative small lot casting technologies to support the prototype, research and development and preproduction needs of industries such as automotive, construction and agricultural equipment. Kimura Foundry America’s 3D printing and simulation technology enable us to complete castings from 3D models in as little as 5 business days. As a result of feedback from our customers Kimura Foundry America is partnering with VIP Tooling to offer finish casting machining services in addition to supplying unmachined castings

VIP Tooling started as a tool grinding company in 1974. VIP Tooling specializes in aluminum extrusion tooling and precision prototyping for the automotive and HVAC industries. VIP Tooling has evolved into a modern machine shop utilizing the latest technology including 3D modeling, CAD/CAM software, and multi axis CNC machines in addition to continuous training of employees.

VIP tooling has the capability to machine various sizes and profiles of castings by 5axis vertical machining centers, multi axis turning machine, wire and conventional EDM and grinding. VIP Tooling is ISO9001 2015 certified and incorporates vison and CMM technologies in the inspection process.
